SENIOR LECTURER: ARCHITECTURE

 

£37,382 to £44,607 per annum

 

BA (Hons) Architecture at NUA is a new course which recruited its first intake in 2012. The course promotes the importance of designing fit-for-purpose and fit-for-use structures informed by contemporary environmental, material and historical factors relevant to the industry.

 

We are now seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Lecturer to complement our course team. The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of contemporary architectural practices and the associated requirements of the professional bodies for architecture. Experience of engaging students with the technical and regulatory aspects of professional architecture practice through integrated design briefs is desirable.

 

A qualified architect with professional experience of architecture practice and teaching at HE level within the UK, you will have a strong desire to provide a high quality and relevant student experience. You will act as a year tutor, developing and delivering the curriculum across year groups.

 

The role requires a proactive approach to curriculum design, organisation, delivery and assessment and a proven ability to contribute to the management of the course in collaboration with the Course Leader.
